Since the national religion decrees that education is a cost and not an investment, Britain's university industry is naturally looking abroad for funds, and a plan has duly been approved for academics from the University of Exeter to teach mercenary master's degrees in "applied security and strategy" for the Government's favourite Islamic fundamentalist head-choppers. The House of Saud's attitudes towards migrants, wog-bombing and law and order are all comfortingly British, and the assault course blends "academic depth with practical application" which will doubtless come in jolly useful for the accustomed British-standard maintenance of peace abroad and liberty at home. A spokesbeing for the University of Exeter proclaimed that the transaction was assessed "on academic and ethical grounds, through a process separate from budget planning," and that certainly ought to set everyone's mind at rest. Whether it was those same academical ethicals who decided to embrace the infoslop revolution by sacking a hundred and fifty staff from the humanities and social sciences remains as yet unclear.
