It sometimes happens, now and then,
That someone with a broken pen,
And one with sunshine squared away,
And Blogger, may combine and may
Provide a handy forum where
A certain versifying flair
Might be applied, if whim should warrant,
To comment on the ghastly torrent
Of infotaining burblimation
In which the media drown our nation;
For, though it's true one cannot mix
Sublimity with politics,
One may perhaps allow the news
For verse, or worse, to be a Muse.
