Modesty in Defeat

In the absence of a soul to search, or any minimally convincing substitute, Team Trumpster will naturally be looking for excuses with which to propitiate the head-tribble over the mid-term massacre. The Vice-Emperor and aspiring inheritor of the toxic toupée and its glorious glowing defecations has already narrowed the options down to the Persian Crusade; which at least demonstrates a certain perspicacity in linking the assault on Iran to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and thence to inflated fuel prices for millions who had been promised the opposite. Even so, the slimy little henchman's reductionism is remarkable for its lack of generosity towards his master, who has spent so much time and effort, both his own and other people's, in piling up reasons for his dupes to turn against him.
