A Moral Contribution

Soft power being a nasty, sneaky, Heathen Chinee sort of affair, the master race has very moderately and sensibly balanced out the monarch's conciliatory chunterings in the Caribbean with a good hard kick to the common wealth. Cuts to overseas aid have been particularly incentivising towards the former beneficiaries of Empire, so as to bring the nation's foreign policy in line with that humanitarian domestic doctrine which specifies that the way to improve the lives of the poor is to keep making them poorer. As might be expected, His Majesty's most unapologetic Government has demonstrated particular relish in slashing funds to mitigate the effects of the climate catastrophe; and it is to be hoped that the global community's little people will take the moral lesson to heart and make reasonable and responsible adjustments to their front lawns and their emergency reserves of mineral water.
